Dinner at Chi’Zen Restaurant | Oryx Rotana Hotel, Doha Qatar

Chi’zen Restaurant has always been on top of our list whenever we crave for some Asian cuisines or want to eat at a fancy resto here in Doha. They’ve got great selection of food, awesome service, beautiful ambience and affordable prices compared to the other restaurants located inside the hotels.

It was another Thursday night when we decided to have dinner here. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by a lady at the reception and lead us to our table. We chose to dine inside, which is a good choice because it was not crowded that time, as compared to the outdoor seating where most of the guests opted to stay due to the nice weather. After placing our orders, they served us some complimentary crackers. We were very hungry that time and one serving of crackers was not enough, so we asked for more, and they were very generous enough to give us more.

It didn’t took a lot of time for our orders to be served. Since we’ve been dining here for quite some time, we already have our favorites, and that’s what we usually got every time. During this visit we had Salt and Pepper Calamari, Chicken Kung Pao, Black Pepper Beef and Egg Fried Rice. Other recommended dishes that we didn’t ordered but I would love you to try would be Chi’Zen Peking Duck, Lemon Chicken and Singaporean Chili Prawns.

Everything was palatable and delicious. The serving is good for 2 to 3 persons. We were a group of four when we dined here and our orders were just enough for us.

For the drinks, I just had water and I totally forgot the names of what my husband and my friends ordered. But the pictures are below. Then we had banana spring roll with vanilla ice cream for dessert which was really yummy. It’s super crispy on the outside and the bananas in it were soft.
