Note: This was taken last July 2019 at our home in Doha, Qatar.
When Pio turned one year old last year, I felt that it is a must to arrange a photo session for him since it is a major milestone. I wanted it to be extra special that is why I got the services of Colours Sy Events, who also handled all the planning and preparation of his birthday party.
Initially, we wanted to do it outdoors as the theme that I chose for his party was vintage travel. But it was summer and the temperature in Doha that time was too much to handle, so we decided to do it at home.
Colours Sy Events arranged everything on the photo shoot, from the backdrop, to the props and even the photographer. There were around 4 or 5 different background sets during the session and everything looked really nice on the photos.
This was the first background set. Pio was uneasy during the first few shots.
On the second set, this cute red airplane was added as props.
These vintage luggages were added on the third set. Pio was also wearing a jumper for a different look.
The last set was for the cake smash. At first, Pio was a bit hesitant to smash the cake but he eventually did it. Thanks to Pio’s Ninong Rich for baking the cake, which was yummy by the way.
We had so much fun doing this photo shoot. The Colours Sy Events team were very professional and easy to work with that is why everything went smoothly. Their creativity, which reflected on the style of the background and the props, added life on the photos.
