Dim Sum Brunch at Shanghai Club, Shangri-La Hotel Doha

I have always been a fan of dim sums.  When I was still living in the Philippines, it was very easy to find a Chinese restaurant that serves authentic dim sums in different varieties, whenever I want one. But here in Qatar, it is a bit tough, though there are restaurants here serving this that can at least satisfy your cravings.

One of these restaurants is Shanghai Club, located at the Shangri-La Hotel Doha. Every Friday, they offer Dim Sum Brunch priced at QAR 238 per person and an additional QAR 112 if you opt for unlimited drinks. 

Business Lunch Buffet at C. Taste, Centro Capital Doha

As defined by most dictionaries, Business Lunch is a midday meal where people merely talk about business matters. But for me, Business Lunch here in Qatar means a way to try out food  in most restaurants at a lower price. 

Trying Noodles and Ribs at Elements | Four Seasons Hotel Doha

Noodles and Ribs was the concept launched by Elements Restaurant at the Four Seasons Hotel Doha last summer. It features a delectable variety of ribs and Chef Ding’s hand pulled noodles. Before I left for vacation last July, the foodie in me was so eager to try it because the concept looks interesting and unique, but the thrifty side of me was telling me not to pay QAR 200 for just noodles and ribs (I didn’t know then that salads, sushi and desserts are included). 

Dinner at Chi’Zen Restaurant | Oryx Rotana Hotel, Doha Qatar

Chi’zen Restaurant has always been on top of our list whenever we crave for some Asian cuisines or want to eat at a fancy resto here in Doha. They’ve got great selection of food, awesome service, beautiful ambience and affordable prices compared to the other restaurants located inside the hotels. 

Orient Pearl Restaurant Doha

This restaurant is located opposite the office where I used to work three years ago. During that time, they were still constructing this place, and most of us were very excited to dine here since it is new in the area. However, when they finally opened, we heard and read a lot of good and bad reviews. Sadly, the bad comments took the best of us, so we prolong our decision to try eating here, until I resigned at that company. 

Friday Brunch at Yee Wha Restaurant Doha

We were supposed to have a Friday Brunch at a different restaurant offering a unique theme, however it was fully booked when I tried to call them the day prior. While thinking of where to go instead, my friend suggested to have it at Yee Hwa Restaurant. Since I’m always craving for Korean and Japanese cuisines, I agreed right away. I’ve tried eating here before and I am always satisfied with the food and the service, but this will be the first time that I am going to try their Friday Brunch Buffet. 

A Quiet Spot in the Middle of the City | Cafe # 999

Every now and then, I always see to it that I revisit our Entertainer Qatar App to check out some restaurants that we haven’t tried yet. While browsing, I stumbled upon this place called Cafe # 999. Immediately, I researched about it and its location.

A Fusion of Eastern and Western Cuisines | Teatro, City Centre Rotana Doha

Last week, I attended a bridal shower of a friend held at Teatro Restaurant in City Center Rotana Doha. Whenever I visit  a restaurant located inside a hotel, I always make it a point to check their menus and read some reviews, so I will know what to expect once I am there.
